Vegan BLT ~ Dulse Lettuce & Tomato Sandwich (DLT)

A vegan Dulse Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich is the ultimate indulgence. Dulse's smoky saltiness is the perfect complement to a garden sweet tomato - sweet, salty and satisfying.

Prep time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of gluten free, dairy free bread 
  • 1 fresh tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves, sprouts or both (optional)
  • 2 Dulse Leaves (or use 2tbsp Dulse flakes /Smoked Dulse flakes)
  • 2 tsp vegan mayonnaise 
  • 1 tsp Citrus Seaweed & Sesame Seasoning
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced into thin pieces (optional)

    Directions for each sandwich:

    1. Spread the mayonnaise on one slice.
    2. Arrange other ingredients
    3. Sprinkle with Citrus Seaweed Seasoning
    4. Cut in half for easy handling
    5. Share, if you have to!
