You probably would not immediately think to add Irish Moss to a dressing but its a really great way to thicken a salad dressing and bring added nutrients to your plate in an easy, low-fuss way. Make sure you rinse the Sea Moss well when making the gel if you don't want the aroma of the ocean, but the other ingredients will mask this too.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup tahini
- 1 tablespoon prepared Irish Moss gel
- ¼ cup filtered water
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1 clove of garlic finely minced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- Kelp sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Season to your liking
- Serve over a potato or chickpea salad recipe.
