Pacific Harvest  Dairy Free Irish Sea Moss Ice Cream

Our dairy-free Irish Sea Moss Ice cream recipe screams summer fun!  Serve in a cone or with fresh fruits or a raw chocolate sauce.

Who said following a restricted diet needs to be boring?!

You will need a blender and nut milk bag for this recipe.

Serves: 6  Time to prepare 10 minutes plus 8 hours in your freezer 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw cashews or another nut
  • 3 cups of pure spring water
  • 1 cup Irish moss, soaked and drained.
  • 1 cup coconut nectar
  • 1 whole vanilla bean, cut into small pieces
  • 3 pinches kelp sea salt
  • 1 cup coconut oil

Directions

  1. Blend cashews and water to a milk using a blender or food processor. 
  2. Strain with a nut milk bag and reserve pulp for another recipe.
  3. Blend 1 cup of cashew milk with the Irish Moss until completely smooth.
  4. Add all other ingredients in order, slowly adding the coconut oil last.
  5. Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight.
  6. When ready, scoop and enjoy with fresh fruits or raw chocolate sauce.
